Get connected to the business community and learn about RF100 at October's Power Lunch. The Ready for 100% (RF100) Renewable Energy team is bringing renewable energy to Mammoth Lakes. Don Condon and Lynn Boulton will be presenting a brief introduction of Ready for 100 to the Chamber on October 16.
Don is the president of the Eastern Sierra chapter of the Electric Auto Association and Lynn is the chair of the Range of Light Sierra Club group. Ready for 100 is a Sierra Club endeavor to help cities, towns and counties become clean energy consumers. Currently over 80 cities in the U.S. have now established bold commitments to move away from dirty fuels and repower their communities with 100% clean, renewable energy sources like wind and solar. RF100 has developed a list of actions the town can take.
One current goal of this drive is to provide charging stations for all electric autos in Mammoth Lakes. Don and Lynn will give a brief review of the current state and potential solutions at this month's Power Lunch.
