Winter Speaker Series - Elyse Saugstad

Mammoth Lakes Recreation is excited to bring our community together for a live, in-person screenings of Elyse Saugstad's "If There's a Will, There's a Way" as part of the Alpenglow Winter Speaker Series. The Series blends two goals: 1) to inspire and motivate mountain athletes to pursue their outdoor dreams and 2) to educate about, and raise funds for, nonprofit organizations making a tangible difference in the community. The Winter Speaker Series is the largest free community speaker series in the country that hosts the biggest names in the outdoor industry.
In her years as an outdoorswoman, Elyse has brushed against death, faced mind-numbing fear, and won the respect of her peers in a male-dominated field. While hurdles throughout her ski life have been omnipresent, Saugstad has chiseled out a highly successful career through determination and grit.
