About Us

Since 2003, Access Mammoth has been creating opportunities for people with disabilities and other access needs to experience the outdoors. Formerly Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra (DSES), the organization provides adaptive outdoor recreation programs throughout California's Eastern Sierra.

Through specialized adaptive equipment, individualized instruction, and a welcoming community, Access Mammoth creates opportunities for participants to pursue their goals and experience the outdoors on their own terms. Our nationally recognized programs support a wide range of activities, including skiing, cycling, paddlesports, and year-round outdoor recreation, with instruction and support tailored to each participant's unique needs and aspirations.

We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the freedom, challenge, and joy that outdoor recreation can provide. By removing barriers and expanding opportunities for participation, Access Mammoth is advancing Access-Ability for Every Body.
