Kyle Rowbotham is the founder and principal of Primal Architects, a San Diego practice designing custom retreats, residences, and hospitality projects across the American West, built on a conviction that remote, rugged places deserve the same rigor and care as anything in the city. He holds a B.S. in Architectural Studies from Southern Illinois University and an M.Arch from the University of New Mexico. Licensed in California and Utah, his experience spans residential, commercial, and education work, including several years of mixed-use and workforce housing in Park City, UT. Kyle lives in San Diego with his wife Stephanie, their children Alan and Lucia, and Rio, their Australian Shepherd. When they're not at home, you'll find them outside.
